About the Artist

In high school, William Lester had limited instruction in watercolor and oil painting. After graduation, art remained an interest but not something he had time to pursue in earnest. Upon retiring in 2019, he had more free time and determined to return to painting, concentrating in oils.

Since 2022, Lester has been studying at the Randall Graham Painting Studio in West Chester, PA, where he has learned many of the fundamentals of painting. The instruction and encouragement he received there have been crucial to his growth as an artist over the past four years.
